Service Management at a glance

Multiple domains

All domains hosted for you can be managed by an appointed 'Domain Manager' from a central control screen.
It opens with a select list of available domains. This select list will remain visible whatever action you undertake at a certain domain, so at all time it is possible to switch to control tasks at other domains in an easy way.
Services

Once a domain has been selected, a select list of 'Services' appears. This list comprises all manageable services at the domain, as included in your subscription package.
Where relevant, you can create users, define passwords, set default languages, etc.
The possibly included services are listed in the page Overview of services.

Creating/editing/deleting users

After selecting a specific service, a configuration screen may turn up directly. For the majority of services, however, the above screen will appear to define 'Users', persons you want to authorise to access the service. You can create, edit or delete multiple users, each with a specific user name and password.
Editing user data

This screen turns up if you have chosen to edit the data of an existing user (a similar screen is used for entering the data of new users). It applies to a user of the service 'Qmail' (e-mail).
Qmail is the most elaborated service, as all users of e-mail have a specific user name and password, among other things. Because of the many ins and outs of e-mail, a special Manual Email Management is included in this website.

Status of actions

The Qwido programme automatically reports whether data are added or changed successfully, in the 'status bar'.
When successful, the notifications are colored green. When the submitted data are rejected by the programme, the color of the status bar will turn red and indications are given how to fix the problem.
Service Managers

For a specific domain, the Domain Manager may delegate the management of one, multiple or all services to 'Service Managers'.
They are authorised to perform the same actions as the Domain Manager. In such case, the Domain Manager will remain having managing control for these services, since he is still the big boss.

Users

For some services, e.g. e-mail, individual 'Users' can be permitted to login to Qwido, to change their password and other personal settings.
In comparison with the Domain Manager, they have more limited options and, naturally, no domain, service and user selection is available.
